My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one.
-John 17:15
Foster parents are fighting a spiritual battle.
Prayer Partners are matched with a family to pray:
- During the week
- On court days
- For staffings
- For reunification
- When a new placement arrives
Serving as an effective Prayer Partner requires regular communication with your match. Often Prayer Partners do this relationship building via regular phone calls and texts, others use email or Facebook messages to keep in contact.
Looking for meaningful ways to include your Frontliner in your petitions to the Lord? A quick, “How can I pray for you today?” text can serve as a guide.
Prayer partners do not have to be local and can pray for more than one family at once. They simply need to be committed to maintaining the privacy of the families and children they are serving!
